Opening a subsidiary or a branch in France raises questions from day one: legal form, registration, tax and payroll. We guide you through each step, in English, alongside your lawyers.
Subsidiary, branch or liaison office: we compare the tax, social and reporting consequences of each option. You decide with a clear view of costs and obligations.
Company registration, VAT number, tax and social security accounts: we handle the formalities with you. Your French entity is ready to invoice, hire and operate.
We set up payroll and monthly social declarations (DSN) as soon as you hire in France. Your employees are paid and declared in line with French rules.
02
Your French entity must meet French requirements while reporting to headquarters in their own format. We bridge the two, month after month.
Bookkeeping, VAT, corporate income tax, local taxes and statutory accounts, prepared and filed on the French calendar. Every figure is explained to you in English.
Monthly or quarterly reporting packages aligned with your group's format, chart of accounts and deadlines. Headquarters receives figures it can use straight away.
We reconcile French statutory accounts with your group accounting principles and document every adjustment. Your figures tell the same story locally and at group level.
A part-time CFO or finance manager for your French entity: budget, cash forecasts, banking relationships. The expertise of a local finance team, without a full-time hire.
03
French companies above certain thresholds must appoint a statutory auditor (commissaire aux comptes). We audit in English and work hand in hand with your group auditors.
When a French company exceeds two of three thresholds: €5m balance sheet total, €10m revenue, 50 employees. Within a group above these thresholds, subsidiaries must appoint one from €2.5m, €5m and 25 employees.
We carry out the statutory audit and, where required, report to your group auditors according to their instructions and timetable. In English, from planning to sign-off.
Contributions in kind, mergers, changes of legal form and capital increases: we issue the reports required by French law, within the timeframe of your transaction.
